Basic course in treeclimbing
The course offers you a chance to make the childhood dream of
climbing to the very top of the highest trees come true. The course will take you through the basic climbing techniques. The main purpose of the course is to enable you to climb safely on your own or with an equably experienced and educated climber. If you'd like an authorization, that enbles you to arrange climbing-activities (toprope-climbing and abseiling) for others, you'll also need to go through the education as Professional Authorized Climbing-Activity-Leader® (CAL® )). We climb up into the trees in different ways as well as well as from one tree to another. Furthermore we prepare and cook our hot meals, eat, live and sleep in the top of the trees, using hammocks, which we hang in or between the trees. In that way we discover a world of silence, serenity and a wiew, which otherwise is a itherwise a unique bird-privilege. During this course, you'll learn a number of techniques, which will enable you to move safely up into almost any tree, live there for the time you chose and thus open up entirely new worlds of both contemplation and adventurous experiences.

2 days. Approximately. 4-5 pers. per. instructor. On this course we go through the full contents of the education to Authorized Climbing Activity Leader©, (KAL©), the professional standard for arranging climbing-activities (toprope-climbing and abseiling). The education is meant for institutions, schools and individuals etc. who wishes to work with or to offer climbing-activities in an orderly and safe way. Being the professional standard for recreational treeclimbing since 1993 and having taken more than 350 individuals through authorizations since then, the CAL©-education and -authorization is offering a fine-tuned and highly professional safety-standard for arranging tree-climbing activities. To become authorized to arrange climbing activities for others
both in clubs and professionally you need both the basic course,
the CAL©-course and the accompanying authorization/exam. With training and optional extra guidance it is possible to become authorized within a period of 3-6 months from the first course. The courses are either held as open courses at fixed dates where
everyone can join or as agrred courses for closed groups of from
four participants and up. - Concentrated playful activities including body and mind. |

On this course we move up and live in the trees.
